3,200 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) owners rushed to submit their projects in order to gain financing for national programs. In five out of the six national programs, the demands add up to more than the double of allocated funds, reaching 27.5 million RON, some 8.5 million euros. Estimations show that, most if not all demands, aim at the maximum sum allowed by the governmental policies.

Only one of the six existing program has still available resources, the one for reinvested sheer profits, where only 77 financing demands were tabled.

Official results of the institutions in charge with selecting the projects are expected during the following two weeks.
