Iraqi insurgents attacked on Friday morning the Talil military camp in the South Eastern Iraq, where over 400 Romanians are stationed, Realitatea TV informs.

„The insurrectionists aimed at the Talil base, as well as other targets near the city of Nassiriya, some 30 kilometers farther. The attack came in two waves, 30 minutes from each other.

There are no casualties or losses among the Romanians military and, according to the intelligence received this far, nor among other Coalition troops", said the Radio Romania correspondent in Talil, according to News 365.

Romania has lost six soldiers since 2002, the year it decided to involve in the Coalition's actions.
