Ioan Talpes, the former chief for the Foreign Intelligence Service announced on Wednesday that he is about to challenge the legality of the new government, filing a complaint at the Constitutional Court.

Talpes claims that PM Tariceanu can no longer hold the PM seat, since the Alliance that chose him ceased to exist. Even more, Talpes believes that president Basescu should appoint Social-Democrat head, Mircea Geoana, as prime minister, since his party leads the parliamentarian majority.
