Social-democrats, Liberals, Greater Romania Party and Conservative deputies voted in favor of a Constitution modification, designed to simplify the procedures to suspend the head of state.

Two Democrats out of 38 voted against their own party. Among the Hungarian Minority's Democratic Union representatives, Erdei-Doloczki Istvan voted against his party and Toro Tiberiu preferred an abstention.

The final result was 198 votes in favor and 46 against the draft.
