Romania figures second on a list of countries least liked by Germans with 11% of respondents in a new poll said they disliked Romania. The ZDF-supported poll, quoted by Novinite.com, shows Germans like Poland least (23%), while Britain, France and Bulgaria take the rest of the “top 5” with 8, 7 and 7 percent respectively.
The poll results come less than a week before the 50th anniversary of the European Union, with major events and parties due to be hosted by Berlin.
The poll shows only 21% of respondents believe Germany’s EU membership is a good thing, while 28% believe otherwise.
