President Traian Basescu declared on Friday, within the European Council in Brussels session, that Romania has a high potential in respecting the energy production policies decided by the European Union.
Brussels officials decided on Friday that the regenerative energy production must cover some 20% of the worldwide production until 2020, while 10% of the fuels should be ecological by the same date.
Another task difficult to reach is to reduce the carbon emissions 20% by 2020.
"Not all countries are able to fit within these limits, Romania being one of the countries that found its resources to fit almost effortless in the new frame".
