The European Union publicly announced that it would drastically reduce its peacekeeping forces stationed in mission in Bosnia, leaving behind about one third of the military, international media announced on Thursday.

Before June, EU will have 2,500 troopers in Bosnia, out of today's 6,800, a military spokesman announced, as quoted by International Herald Tribune.

Still, a Brussels press release informs that the European Union will be ready to return with all necessary forces, if required. UK brings all its 600 military home.
