Belgium may join a long list of European countries that would limit the access of Romanian and Bulgarian citizens looking for jobs on its market once the two states join the EU in January next year, according to Bulgarian news website Novinite.com.

While an official decision in this regard is yet to be taken, the country signals it may apply restrictions for a 2-year period for workers originating in the two countries.

The news shortly after Netherlands and France officials have suggested their countries may apply restrictions, a measure already announced officially by Britain, Ireland and Spain.
