Starting on December 1st, the price for the electricity delivered to domestic clients and small companies will grow 4.72%, the National Authority for Energy Regulation (ANRE) announced.

„Not taking this action would have meant that we allow supplementary losses to be generated, and that would represent an even more drastic price growth for captive clients in 2007”, ANRE claims.

ANRE blames the coal provisioning problems for the early price change, a problem doubled by the low Danube debit.
