The convertible currency reserve of the Romanian National Bank (BNR) reached 21.15 billion euros, after the 2.12 billion euros growth brought by the cashing of the amount obtained for the privatization of the Romanian Commercial Bank (RCB).

According to BNR, the convertible currency entries in October were 2.64 billion euros, as income from the foreign reserve management, modifying the minimum banking institutions’ reserves an other measures.

The gold reserve is still at 104.7 tons, evaluated at some 1.59 billion euros.
