Road traffic in North Bucharest was brought upside-down for a whole 10 days starting Monday, October 9 as the main road link between the Free Press Square (Piata Presei Libere) and the Aerogarii Bulevard) was closed for rehabilitation works at a nearby bridge.
The closure considerably affects the connection between Bucharest and its Otopeni International Airport as cars are redirected to smaller roads and streets that pose a high risk of clogging traffic.
The redirection routes follow the Aviatorilor Boulevard, Aerogarii Boulevard and Poligrafiei Boulevard.
The works are due to end next week.
