Romanian PM Calin Popescu Tariceanu has dismissed two state secretaries from the ministries of Education and Finance and one undersecretary from the Economy Ministry, while naming a new state counsellor at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

Thus, Liberal Anton Anton is no longer a state secretary at the Education Ministry, but remains the manager of the institution as he will become the head of the National Authority for Scientific Research.

Istvan Jakab of the Hungarian Democrats was removed from his seat in the Finance Ministry, while Liberal Nicolae Romulus Buzdun is no longer undersecretary at the Economy Ministry.
