57 more Romanians were evacuated from Lebanon during the last few days due to the conflict between Israel and the Hezbollah movement sparked by the kidnapping of an Israeli soldier on July 12, the Romanian Affairs Ministry informed. The Romanians were taken out from Lebanon by sea, within 20-25 of July, through the operations of the EU.

So far, 786 Romanians were brought back home from Lebanon, out of which 729 by plane. 408 Romanian citizens left Lebanon and crossed the border to Syria , from where they were taken to Romania by plane.
