The Information and Protection Department within the Interior Ministry had provided information on Syrian businessman Omar Hayssam’s intention to leave the country since May 5, according to the Romanian Interior minister Vasile Blaga.
Blaga holds the General Prosecutors Office responsible for the vanishing of Omar Hayssam. The Interior minister considers that Hayssam had significant support to leave the country, but if the wanted businessman crossed the border ubder the responsibility of the customs authority, harsh measures will be applied to punish the guilty.
However, there is the possibility that Hayssam got out of the country so that the Border Police could not intervene.
