The Romanian Lottery will contribute to the financing of new residences for youth, gym halls and the Sport Arenas. At least 60% of the Lottery’s profit is to be invested in the residential projects, according to a press release by the Romanian Government.
The investments are valued at more than 15 million Euros.
0.4% of the profit will go to books and publications for the public libraries, whereas 1% is destined to contribute to the Cinema fund.
The profit from sports bets will be invested into sport activities. In 2006, the sum tops 148,000 Euros. The estimations show a profit increase of 5.1% compared to 2005, amounting to 31 million Euros.
