The Romanian Commodities Exchange (RCE) recorded a 20 % increase regarding the procedures of procurement and sale volume in the first quarter of 2006, when 856 procedures amounted to a total trade value of 181,567 million dollars.

On the floor of the Romanian Commodities Exchange, the most valued trades were represented by CFR Marfa, with 46,491 million dollars trades, CFR Calatori with 32,051 million dollars trades, and Nuclearelectrica with 29,122 million dollars trades.

The differences between the price prior to and after the auction amounted to 3.90 mln dollars in Q1.

The terminal Iasi ranks first with trades amounting to11.987 million dollars, while Cluj comes in second with a trade value of 5,399 million dollars and Craiova on third with 3,945 million dollars.

The terminals recorded 156 auctions valued at 34,833 million dollars. The total value of the favourable differences amounted to 3,698 million dollars.
