Wizz Air, the biggest low cost airlines company in Central and Eastern Europe is to expand activity to Romania by launching eight new flight routes from three airports starting January 2007. The company recently launched the flight Targu Mures -Budapesta. On this occasion, the company offers 10 000 tickets at 0 lei on all routes, a first on the Romanian market.

The three airports to host Wizz Air airplanes are Bucharest Baneasa, Arad and Targu Mures. The company offers direct flights from these cities to Barcelona, Roma, Milan, London, Dortmund and Budapest.

The Wizz Air is present in Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia and Slovenia, on 15 airports in seven countries, with 69 routes to 40 destinations.
