Romanian football team Steaua Bucharest will face the winner of the Linfield Belfast (Northern Ireland) - KN Gorica (Slovenia) in the second round of Champions League preliminaries, it was announced today. Steaua’s first match will be on rival turf on July 25 or 26 while it’s home match is scheduled for August 1 or 2, two weeks after it learns the winner of Lindfield-NK.

According to Onlinesport.ro, Steaua has the best figures for the second round of the preliminaries as it dodged three stronger adversaries - Mlada Boleslav, SCP Ruzomberok and Salzburg.

Meanwhile, Dinamo Bucharest will face Hibernians (Malta) and Rapid Bucharest will also confront a Maltese team - Sliema Wanderers.
