The manager of Boom.ro, the biggest on-line advertising company in Romania, Orlando Nicoara resigned on Thursday, according to his personal blog www.orlando.ro. The reasons for this move have not yet been disclosed, but his message hints at a continuation of his activity in the internet industry. Hotnews.ro contacted Nicoara but he refused to comment on his resignation.
Following suit, Cristian Ditoiu, shareholder of Netbridge, Referat.ro, SfatulMedicului.ro, e-Referate and 220.ro, also resigned. The websites belong to the investment fund Broadhurst via NetBridge Limited Cyprus run by Andrei Siminel.
Boom.ro, the advertising division of NetBridge.ro, manages 50% of the Romanian on-line advertising. ArbomediaNet ranks second with 36%.
