The head of oil company Rompetrol Dinu Patriciu wants to list his company on London Stock Exchange by 2008 despite the drawbacks created by the judicial investigation that eyes Patriciu, according to the DowJonesNews.com.

Patriciu stated that together with his partner Phil Stephenson intended to sell a minority shares package before the trading on the London Stock Exchange.

Dinu Patriciu holds 80% of the Rompetrol and claims the company has lost “hundreds of millions” due to the investigation in which he is charged with embezzlement, manipulating the capital market, money laundering and criminal association.
