The net average salary rose 1.3% to 839 RON (some 240 Euro) in April this year, compared to the previous month, according to data presented by the National Statistics Institute on Monday. The boost is based on periodical and Easter bonuses.
Data show the highest increases – over 20% - were recorded in the sectors of transport and energy production and supply.
Salary boosts of 10-20% were also recorded in forestry, metalurgy, road transports and waste management.
And the salaries went down in the mining, tewxtile, leather processing, crude processing, chemical, financial intermediation and other induestries.
