The Court of Appeal Bucharest ruled that businessman Ovidiu Tender remained into custody, endorsing an appeal against the Bucharest Tribunal’s decision to investigate Tender at large. On May 29, the Bucharest Tribunal rejected the prolongation of the arrest mandate for Tender.

Ovidiu Tender is charged with creating a prejudice to the Romanian state of over 75 million RON. In the same case, the owner of football club Poli Timisoara is also under investigation.
