An Executive Committee for European Integration (ECEI) has established the measures calendar for tackling the problematic-fields marked with red and yellow flags by the European Commission in the last monitoring report in order to become an EU member on January 1, 2007, according to a press release of the Romanian Government released on Tuesday.
The Committee evaluated the European criteria fulfillment and discussed on the action plan regarding the judiciary system, and corruption, agriculture and taxing. The measures will be discussed with European Commission officials in Brussels on June 7.
On July 1, the Finance Ministry will test the computer system for tax collection.
