Belgium’s Senate endorsed Romania and Bulgaria’s accession treaty on Thursday with 52 votes in favor and 8 against, announces European Integration Ministry of Romania. The Treaty is still to be debated and voted upon in the Belgian Chamber of Representatives and in the other regional Parliaments.

The Polish Senate approved Thursday, unanimously, Romania and Bulgaria’s Accession Treaty to the EU, following the ratification on March 10 by the Lower Chamber. Next, the Polish president Lech Kacinski will endorse the law within 14 days.

With Lithuania’s endorsement yesterday, all the ten new EU members that joined in May 2004 ratified the accession treaty of Romania and Bulgaria.
