Quadrant Amroq Beverages – QAB, the authorized bottler and distributor of Pepsi, Prigat, Lipton Icea Tea and other drinks in Romania and the Moldovan Republic, will invest 17.6 million US dollars in Romania this year, with most of the money going to upgrade the current production lines, the company has announced.
They said 72% of the total investment will be used for the development of production lines in order to increase production by 42% for non-carbonized drinks and by 92% for carbonized drinks.
The move was explained by an increased demand on the domestic market, according to Florin Radulescu, QAB general manager.
