The National Tourism Fair to be held in early April will host a special area for the promotion of tourism in the Black Sea region, it has been announced.

The event will be attended by 11 official delegations from member countries of the Organization for Black Sea Economic Cooperation and 4 representatives of international tourism bodies such as the World Tourism Organization and the Central European Initiative.

Romania holds the rotating presidency of the OBSEC for the period of November 2005-April 2006 and the fair on April 6-9 will allow it to promote tourism actively in the region.

OBSEC includes 12 countries – Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, the Moldovan Republic, Romania, the Russian Federation, Serbia, Montenegro, Turkey and Ukraine.
