A new TV business station will enrich the Romanian visual media landscape following the license granted by the National Council of the Audio-Visual to Realitatea Media on Thursday.

The project is based on the fact that there is a need for such a station to cover the development of the Romanian business environment, including all events with major implications for the national and international business community.

The project team is led by Lucian Sarbu, former news chief editor for the national television.

The new tv station along with the news channel Realitatea TV belong to one of the most controversial businessmen in Romania, Sorin Ovidiu Vantu. He recently revealed he owns a majority stake in the popular news TV channel.

Another Romanian businessman and media mogul Adrian Sarbu, owner of more tv and radio stations amongst which Pro TV, is to launch two new TV stations business and sports oriented.
