Raiffeisen Bank Romania launched Wednesday a brokerage insurance company Raiffeisen Insurance –Reassurance Broker, informs a press release of the bank.
The new unit targets the corporate clients, foreign and Romanian companies and will first broker products for Reiffeisen entities, planning to expand its horizon later on, according to the new company’s CEO Iulia Osman.
Besides Raiffeisen Bank, the Austrian group is present on the Romanian market through Raiffeisen Capital&Investment, Raiffeisen Leasing Raiffeisen Banca pentru Locuinte (bank for residences).
Raiffeisen Asset Management is a future unit to be opened in Romania.
Raiffeisen Bank boasts 2 million customers, among which 120 000 are small enterprises, and over 4000 are corporate clients.
The bank’s network is made up of 216 local units, employing more than 4500 persons.
