Coach Esteban Vigo quit Monday the Dinamo Bucharest following the president's resignation. President and shareholder of Romanian football club Dinamo Giovani Becali resigned this weekend after two players were transferred without his approval.

Vigo was appointed on a six-month deal in December by fresh former president Ioan Becali, without managing the team in an official game.

Becali did not agree with defender George Galamaz and midfielder Stefan Grigorie transfers to the Polish team Wisla Krakow as "contrary to Dinamo's interests.

"Becali said he would resign and asked the club's Board of Directors to pay back the money he had invested so far, amounting to $1 million, within the next seven days.

Ioan Becali, aka Givani Becali, was a football agent until last week when the Romanian Soccer Federation took away his license due to an illegal transfer.

Vigo is to be replaced by a former Dinamo coach, Cornel Dinu.
