Flanco International is to open four units this year in Bucharest of more than 2000 sqm, reads a company’s press release. The first one opens doors in July. The project costs 2 mln euros. The investment in the first two Flanco World stores amounts to 6.3 mln euros.

The first Flanco World store was launched in November last year in Romanian city of Brasov. The company announced plans to open also smaller units, of up to 1000 sqm in Bucharest, and in two other cities, Arad and Iasi.

Flanco International, one of the most important electronics and home appliances retailer boasts a 92 mln euros turnover in 2005 and a wide network of 100 units. Founded in 1994, the company belongs to Swedish Investment Oresa.
