The Bucharest Exchange Stock (BSE) market continued its declining on Wednesday. The opening predicted an unfavorable day. Towards the second half of the session the main shares stopped declining and recorded a come back.

The second half of the day dominated by brokers, closed with BET and BET-C indices very near to Tuesday values while BET-FI closed down 0.9 per cent.

The value of the total volume of transactions reached almost 53 mln RON.

Oil market:

Petrom Bucuresti (SNP) operated 5.4 mln RON on the market and 5.65 mln RON via Deal transaction that dealt with 9.5 mln shares at 0.5950 RON per share. The SNP listed shares went up to 0.6050 and then dropped and closed down at 0.59 (-0.8).

Bank market:

BRD – Groupe Societe Generale (BRD) was the only Blue- Chip to close the session, starting with 19.2 RON and closing down above the Tuesday values at 19 RON (+1,6 per cent). On Tuesday, BRD went down more than5 per cent.

The best performance was recorded by Rompetrol Well Services (PTR) closing at 0.273 (+5 per cent). The company announced a preliminary profit of 6.65 mln RON, i.e. PER less than 4.

SIF market: All SIF closed down, however SIF Banat – Crisana (SIF1) recorded the biggest drop at 2.45 (-1.6 per cent).
