Some 160 deputies from the opposition Social Democratic (PSD) and Greater Romania (PRM) parties filed Wednesday a motion against a health reform package for which the government has taken responsibility in Parliament on Monday.

The opposition believes the proposed laws are „anti-social" and „anti-European" and should be analyzed as such by the Constitutional Court.

The PSD party complained that the Government ignored many of the amendments suggeste for the draft laws, aimed at reforming the lingering Romanian sanitary and health system after years of delays.
