European expats consider that Bucharest is a good place live, a survey published by human resources agency ECA International reveals. The survey ranks Bucharest 14th among European cities, due mainly to its progresses in terms of safety, households and health system.

Due to the same progresses, Bratislava, Slovakia is the second East European city chosen by foreign residents. The first on the European list is Copenhagen, followed by three Swiss cities - Geneva, Bern and Basel and three German cities: Dusseldorf, Bonn and Munich.

Asia foreign residents ranked Copenhagen among their favorites but only fifth. They consider that Singapore is the best place to live, for its safety and low pollution levels. In the Middle East, the most preferred city is Manama next to Dubai and Muscat.
