A protest meeting organized on Wednesday in Bucharest in the Constitutiei Square by the main teachers' unions will cause traffic restrictions in Bucharest. The protest will be followed by a march up to Piata Victoriei, in front of the government.
Some 15,000 union members are expected to attend the protest. News agencies read that trade unions contest the government's decision to call for a Constitutional Court decision in the case of the bill passed in the Parliament increasing teachers' wages by 50%.
Therefore, important traffic lanes downtown Bucharest will be affected starting 11:30 am to 12:30 pm when protesters will start their march.
