Romania’s capital city will be classed as a metropolis according to the draft law on the Metropolis Bucharest and the Judicial Status of the Capital city , the Bucharest’s prefect Ion Tincu informed on Wednesday.

The draft law is just about to be finished and it rules that the capital city will be classed as a metropolis that will permit a unitary development of the city, Romanian news agency Mediafax informs.

Tincu said that once the normative acts will be introduced, the development of the adjacent metropolitan areas would start.
