Cantacuziono Institute from Bucharest confirmed another swine flu infection case on Wednesday, Romanian Ministry of Health informs. The person arrived in Romania on Monday, travelling from Toronto. The patient came to the National Institute of Infectious Diseases Matei Bals from Bucharest with specific symptoms.
The person is currently hospitalised at Matei Bals, receiving antiviral medication.
All the other patients diagnosed with swine flu in Romania were discharged on Tuesday.
Cantacuzino National Institute can produce 5 million dozen flu vaccine, within three months after the virus root is isolated, Health Ministry adds in a press release.
