The train connecting Bucharest's biggest train station, Bucuresti Nord to Henri Coanda International Airport will not be annulled on the short term, because in the last months the traffic increased steadily with about 6 to 8%, Romanian news agency Mediafax informs. In the upcoming weeks, authorities will install a roof top to the Otopeni train station, as a response to complaints.

In May, Transports minister Radu Berceanu announced that the train linking the capital's main train station to the airport will be shut down because there was not enough traffic. The price of a ticket, which also covers transport with the bus for half of the route is 6 lei.
