Romanian capital city Bucharest would be promoted as a tourism destination for city-break travels, the Romanian Regional Development and Tourism Ministry says, seeking to buy a strategy to promote the city. An announcement in this regard is expected to be published on Wednesday.

The strategy project would be supported from foreign non-reimbursable funds amounting to 430,000 RON.

A Ministry announcement says the move is based on recommendations resulting from the studies made to produce a national tourism brand for Romania, which profile Bucharest as the main Romanian destination for city-break tourism with a high potential of development in cultural tourism.
