Carrefour Romania rented a 6500 sq meters area in Constanta, South East Romania to open its second hypermarket in the city, a press release of the RED group informs. The market reserves some 4000 sq meters for selling facilities.
The hypermarket will be open by 2009.
Carrefour officials told HotNews.ro that the total value of the investment amounts to some 20 million euro.
The contract is the third one signed by Carrefour with the RED group.
Carrefour officials said that the project consolidates the presence of the chain in large Romanian cities.
