Romania's telecom supervising authority ANCOM has fined operator Telekom Mobile Ron 1.1 million over an incident in March this year, when its network was affected for more than the allowed 35 minutes of unavailability, according to HotNews.ro.

In the March incident, the Telekom Mobile network was not available for all services - voice, data, text messages - for more than 4 hours, according to sources.

The company has in fact received 2 fines, amounting to a total of RON 1.1 million - one for the long duration of nonavailability and one for not keeping the network logs.
