Romanian drugs factory Antibiotice Iasi will be put for privatization once again according to EU norms and regulations, Romanian Authority for State Assets Recovery (AVAS) informed on Thursday. The government previously decided that the privatization should stop due to a local court decision.

The European Commission declared that the factory should be sold in an tender organized within the boundaries of the competition legislation so that the company to offer the highest price should win.

The decision does not compel AVAS to spend more money in order to re-organize the process as the previous expertize and judicial consultancy are still valid.
