Dinu Patriciu is the wealthiest businessman in Romania, with 1.9-2 billion euro, according to the Adevarul 500 billionaires top published on Monday. Patriciu is closelly followed by Ion Tiriac with 0.95 - 1 billion euro. Third in the top is Zoltan Teszari, the owner of the RCS&RDS cable and telephony company with 0.9 billion euro.
Top 5 is completed by Marius and Emilian Cristescu with 0.85 billion euro closely followed by media mogul Sorin Ovidiu Vantu with 0.85 billion euro.
Adevarul is published by Adevarul Holding, owned by Dinu Patriciu and the top was set up just a day before the official presentation of the Top 300 Capital, set up Capital magazine, published by Ringier Romania.
HotNews.ro sources said that the two tops do not coincide at all. Apparently, the top set up by Capital places football club owner Gigi Becali first, followed by Tiriac and Dinu Patriciu.
