Romania's financial system will be evaluated by IMF and World Bank experts starting November 1 to November 8. The international experts arrive in Bucharest after an older request made by Romanian authorities. According to the regional office of the fund, the mission will not negotiate a financial assistance deal with IMF.

IMF experts declared that Romanian authorities did not demand any financial assistance, thus denying the rumors present in the press. In this vein, Romania's Central National Bank announced it does not need financial aid.
