Romania' National Energy Company will be dismantled by an emergency ordinance, Ministry of Economy state secretary Tudor Serban declared for NewsIn. He added that there are other urgent matters to address in the country and declared that all companies part of the National Energy Company will redress at the previous form of organization.

Romania's Energy Company was set up on October 8, 2008 and would encompass 50% of the electric energy production of the country: Electrica, Hidroelectrica, Complexele Energetice Rovinari and Turceni.
