The Raiffeisen Bank were targeted on Thursday by a new phishing attempt. The clients received an electronic message, formulated as if it was sent by the bank, demanding private information. The message included an attachment directing users towards a web page designed like the official Raiffeisen Online website.

The email said "For your own security and in order to avoid losing data, the unblocking of your Raiffeisen Online account will be made using this attachment. Thank you for your understanding". The link directed the users towards the following address: "http://raiffeisenonline.ro.myrzb.com/?eBankingWeb/login?Lang=ro".

After accessing the page, the clients were asked to fill out the client code, the user code, the password and the Raiffeisen Bank card number.
