Unions threaten to go on strike, unless anti-crisis measures are adopted

The labor unions will address an ultimatum to the Government, demanding a final form of the anti-crisis plan designed to fight the economic recession effects. In case the plan isn't made public soon, the labor unions threaten to organize strikes "at an unprecedented level", said the Cartel Alfa vice president, Liviu Apostoiu.

"We shall address an open letter as ultimatum to all those who assumed the leadership of this country, asking them to adopt concrete measures for the country's bringing back to a healthy state", said Apostoiu, adding that "the current measures are a sort of a game, probably designed to impress the IMF or other institutions".
