Catalin Marinescu, the new president of the Telecom authority (ANCOM) will discuss with mobile telephony operators in order to reach an expanding of the 3G service area and to re-organize the way the range is shared  among operators, by introducing at least one new 3G license. The new ANCOM president also aims at ending in the shortest time possible - this year, or even before summer - the procedures for providing 3G services in the 2G band (900-1800 MHz).
