The annual inflation rate was 6.71% in March, after reaching 6.89% in February, according to the data at the National Statistics Institute. The inflation rate in February was fueled mainly by the price increase for non-food products.

In March, consumption prices increased 0.5%, compared to February - 0.39% for food products, 0.68% for non-food (mostly due to growing prices for tobacco and alcohol) and 0.33% for services.
