Romania's national currency depreciated on Monday from 4.1275 lei/euro to 4.1450 lei/euro after stagnating for a while at 4.1350 lei/euro today, Romanian news agency NewsIn informs. As the Western markets will open up, the exchange rate will move to a clearer position, a local dealer declared quoted by NewsIn.

Similarly, in the region, national currencies in Poland or Hungary took the same depreciation trend to the euro. On the international markets, the American currency appreciated from 1.3667 units/euro to 1.36 units/euro.
