Romanian Central Bank (BNR) set a 4.1529 lei/euro rate on Tuesday, after the currency depreciated on Monday to 4.1560 lei/euro. Similarly, the leu appreciated against the Swiss franc and the American dollar: 2.7534 lei/franc, compared with 2.7595 lei/franc, the value of the last session, and 3.0428 lei/dollar, as opposed to 3.0589 lei/dollar, the value recorded on Monday.

BNR fixed Tuesday’s price for gold at 89.8854 lei for one gram, a higher value than the Monday’s price 89.7576 lei/gram.
